Arthur Lee, 1945-2006
The Love frontman died yesterday in Memphis, the result of acute lymphoblastic leukemia. More via Pitchfork.

His solo album "Vindicator" was one king hell album.
Of the finest.
Arthur Lee was brilliant--a genius, extraordinarily gifted, clever, funny, a writer of joyous music. He's always deserved more recognition. Thank God he finally got some before he died.
