In House #1591: Morrissey's Ringleader of the Tormentors; New Concretes, Camera Obscura

Love him or hate him, and chances are you most certainly fall into one camp or the other, Morrissey has to be given credit for his resiliency if nothing else. Just a few years after being left for dead following a seven year drought between releases, the former Smiths frontman has returned with his second strong album in as many years with Ringleader of the Tormentors, out today. Now living in (where else?) Rome, the one-time Pope of Mope enlisted the talents of, among others, the legendary Ennio Morricone for help with the production and recording, and the results appear to be solid (or better, if you believe Pitchfork). Ringleader marks Morrissey's eighth solo release since the dissolution of the Smiths in 1987.

In House #1591.
Airdate: 4/4/06
